NEW CITIZENSHIP RULES FOR CHILDREN BORN IN THE USA TO IMMIGRANT PARENTS

Do you plan to have your kid(s) in the USA and give them the chance of becoming citizen(s) of America, but have been dampened by the circulating rumor that this desire is no longer feasibly? Well, you have nothing to worry about because your baby still stands an incredible chance of becoming a US citizen.

According to Edward Lawrence, a reporter for Fox Business, US immigration services has in truth released new rules for children born in the USA. Part of rule states that there will be no automatic citizenship for children born in the USA to immigrant parents.

However, he clarifies this rule by stating that it only applies to temporary visitors to the United States who come into the USA “just to have a child”. He further explains that citizenship for children born in the United States by immigrant parents would be possible if the parents stay in the US for 6 weeks or longer.

This rule would be in effect from October the 29th 2019.
